HILMER GRAHAM - Producer

Hilmer Graham has entered the Film Industry in full force. Fresh out of Film School he has already worked on an impressive list of projects ranging from Commercials, to TV Pilots to Short Films.

This year Graham worked with Director Bobby Sheehan on some high profile commercial spots for "Payless" and "Motor City," as well as two TV pilots “Art Wide Open” and “Talent Collector.” The latter of which was picked up by American Movie Classics and will go into production in early spring. Later this year he will be working on Repomen for The Learning Channel.

In 1995 he worked on Bobby Sheehan’s award winning 35mm short “Customs of the Country.” Inspired by the experience Graham decided to continue his education and enrolled in NYU Film School where he studied everything from Non-Linear Editing, to Producing, to Directing to Acting.

Last year Graham went behind the camera when he signed on as director of photography for the independent short “Happy Together.” “Happy Together” is scheduled to begin re-shoots in early May with Graham reprising his role as DP and will be submitted to several premiere film festivals.

An avid songwriter and keyboardist as well as a certified recording engineer, Graham opened a recording studio in 1992 and composed soundtracks to a number of short films.

With a strong technical background in web development Graham has designed and Managed the development of several large web based applications for the music industry. These applications are presently in use by such record labels as Island / Def Jam, Universal Records, Verve Music Group and Motown Records.

Graham has written many short film scripts over the years. At the early age of 14, Graham’s screenplay "Opening the Door" was considered by ABC for an afterschool special. Later this year Graham will direct his most recent script, a short drama entitled “Normal.”
