RAY comes into focus
RAY, a rough looking man in his twenties walks down the street with a street-wise swagger.

CAMERA dollys right to left as MIKE and RAY almost bump into each other.
Moments later, MIKE, a scrawny, desperate man in his late twenties stumbles out of the alley. MIKE and RAY almost bump into each other.
MIKE wipes his bloody nose with his sleeve as he puts himself together.

RAY enters. It’s a small dark bar with a few people at the bar and several people sitting in a few small booths. He walks over to the end of the bar, pulls out a stool and sits down.
